A second-hand camper van buying is always quite a quest. With a bus camper you really go back to the minimum. The vans are very small but very efficiently arranged, so that they are complete. On the outside they look compact and very sporty, an image that you see more and more in the motorhome world.

Camper vans have recently become very popular, mainly due to the easy handling (the same as a delivery van) and maneuverability. In addition, these models are also very multifunctional and can also be used as passenger transport or material transport in addition to a camper. You also notice from the fuel consumption that these tend more towards passenger transport, they consume considerably less than an average camper. Not only the purchase price is lower, but also the other variable costs such as fuel.

You should not underestimate the bus camper in terms of space inside. They have more space and facilities than you might think at first. It easily fits a double bed, a sitting area, kitchenette and in many cases also a shower or toilet. Everything you need at your fingertips.

Downsides of a second-hand bus camper

Because vans are only now increasing in popularity, their production is only now under development. The models are only now in demand, so motorhome manufacturers are working hard to meet the demand for this type of motorhome. So is Sunlight already doing well with the models. A number of promising models have appeared at various motorhome fairs.

You may have already noticed, but we do not yet have any bus camper models in our range. This, of course, has a reason. In addition to the late arrival of camper vans, they also have their downsides. When buying second-hand a camper van, it is important to look at the layout. Since the vehicles are very limited in space, the furniture is adapted to the dimensions of the camper van. In the field of bed size, this often has a negative effect. The Dutch are relatively very tall. Due to the average height of the Dutch, we set higher requirements for bed sizes, also with bus camper models.

In addition, we only have self-sufficient campers in our offer. We want to ensure that you can have a carefree holiday and do not have to depend on sanitary facilities outside the camper. That is also a disadvantage with some vans. Not all models have a toilet or shower, which means that you cannot be self-sufficient as a camper.
