With the camper through the Netherlands

At first glance, the Netherlands may seem somewhat monotonous, but nothing could be further from the truth. Is it boring to go on holiday in your own country? Certainly not! There is plenty to do and by exploring the Netherlands with a camper trip, it is a fun way to spend your holiday. A real win-win situation, especially if you are traveling with the kids; you don't have to drive too long and you are always close to home.

You have to take this into account

The Netherlands is perhaps one of the nicest countries in Europe in terms of traffic and roads. In addition, there are campsites everywhere that have good facilities for campers as standard. Wild camping is strictly prohibited in the Netherlands, as in many other European countries. You can also get a hefty fine for this.

For the rest, there is not much you have to take into account. There are a few tunnels in our country, but they can be avoided with an alternative route. Although you may have lived in the Netherlands (almost) all your life, it does not mean that you have already seen everything. • Texel, North Holland

Texel is easy to reach by camper. From us you can be on the peninsula within two hours after collecting the camper. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the island. It is highly recommended to visit the Duinen van Texel National Park, the national park is even included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

• Valkenburg aan de Geul, Limburg

Valkenburg is completely on the other side of the country. Secretly quite a drive, but you certainly get something in return. As soon as you arrive in Limburg, you gradually notice that the landscape gradually changes into a hilly landscape. In Valkenburg you can see hills and marl walls, a very impressive view if you are not used to it. The old town is very characteristic and there is plenty to do. You can spot the antique advertising in the form of murals or you can visit marl caves. Be sure to check out what the region has to offer!

• De Biesbosch National Park, South Holland / North Brabant

There is plenty to do in the National Park de Biesbosch, you have a full day program for free or at small rates. The water area is good for cycling or walking, but the best way to explore the area is of course on the water. You can rent a canoe or go on board on a whisper boat. If you pay close attention, you might spot one of the wild horses, beavers, or breeding birds. Who knows…
