The Netherlands

You probably know the Netherlands like the back of your hand, you might think… But that doesn't have to be the case! When traveling in your own country, it is an art to find places you have not seen before. For this it is best to check where you have been before and maybe even avoid the bigger cities. There are plenty of small, atmospheric villages that you probably never heard of.

Have you ever heard of Doesburg, Oud-Beijerland, Hattem or the old fortified town of Bourtagne? Definitely worth taking a visit. These villages are spread throughout the country, so you can choose to go directly to the south or take a detour through our own little country. The south is also not to be missed during your motorhome route Benelux, because here you will already get a taste of the hilly landscape that will come back a lot in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Luxembourg

Although Luxembourg is not large in size, there is still plenty to do. You cannot miss this part during your camper route Benelux. For example, you can take a nice walk through the Mullerthal trail. The walking route runs straight through a wooded area and along the way you will encounter various rocks with beautiful waterfalls. Many similar hiking routes can be found in Luxembourg, for example the Schiessentümpel waterfall or the Black Ernz.

You can alternate the nature reserves with sights in the cities and villages. There are many castles and ruins that you can visit for a small fee. Take, for example, the ruin of the castle in Larochtette, the castle in Vianden or fortress Thüngen.

Belgium

Belgium is very diverse with of course the Ardennes nature reserve and beautiful cities such as Bruges, Liège or Brussels.
