The scents and colors of autumn… delicious! Give yourself extra time and go out in October. Maybe you depend on a week of autumn vacation and you stay close by. Below are tips about the most beautiful places with a camper in October in our neighboring countries. In the month of October, our motorhomes are very favorably priced.
If you go a little further with the camper from home, then Germany and Denmark are beautiful destinations to travel through for 10 days or longer. The Ardennes is also a feasible destination from a week and a half holiday.
Which motorhome suits you?
Before you determine your destination, it is of course useful to make a choice from our campers to make. What is the composition of your travel group? Do you want a spacious motorhome such as a Comfort plus? Or rather a compact camper such as a Compact transverse? If you take your dog with you, you can do so in the Comfort single bed type. All our motorhomes are self-sufficient with their own kitchen, shower and toilet.

Just across the border
Belgian Ardennes
If you drive into the valley near Maastricht towards the Belgian border, you are immediately on holiday. If you then send the camper to the Ardennes, you immediately feel the freedom when you see the wooded hilly landscape in front of you. Set your navigation to The Semois Valley near the French border and enjoy picturesque villages, the silence of the countryside and the lush forests. If you are lucky you can even hear the bellowing deer in this northern part of Belgium.

The Rhine Valley, Germany
101 castles! These spectacular World Heritage buildings can be found in Germany between Koblenz and Bingen. They can be admired between beautiful hills with many vineyards. Like the islets in the Rhine, this landscape takes on the most beautiful autumn colors in October. Taste wine in romantic wine towns such as Bacharaub and Kaub, take an autumn walk and follow (part of) the 370 km Rheinsteig trail or eat the Rheintrout and Bacharacher Wildschwein in one of the gemütliche restaurants in the evening.

Jutland and Funen, Denmark
From the Netherlands it is a small 700 km drive to Denmark. North Jutland is a popular destination, but for a trip of around 10 days, the south and central Jutland, like the island of Funen, lend themselves more to a holiday in October. Before you go, check which attractions are open in the fall, as some close in late October. Fortunately, there's plenty left to do. Regular museums and open-air museums such as the Burial Hills in Jelling are always open. In October you can of course also go hiking. If you want a little more adventure, choose the treetop trail Camp Adventure in Ronnede with a breathtaking and enriching view. Even the skyline of Copenhagen is visible in clear weather.
