When do you have to get a C driving license in practice?

If the registration certificate states that the large motorhome weighs 3.100 kilograms. And the load capacity of the motorhome is 400 kilograms, in theory you should be allowed on the road with a B driving license. However, this does not take into account the fact that the motorhome is not yet ready for holiday. Seats and extra cargo such as bicycles, inventory and a water tank are not included yet. This ultimately ensures that the maximum weight of 3.500 kilograms is exceeded.
What happens if you rent a large motorhome without a C driving license?
In practice, many motorhome travelers (unknowingly) drive a motorhome that is too heavy. This may be partly due to the example above, which shows that theory and practice can differ.
