What driving license do you need for a large camper?

This depends on the maximum weight of the camper.

Driving with a C1 driving license

With a C1 driving license you are allowed to drive campers with a maximum permitted mass between 3.500 - 7.500 kg .
This is for a maximum of 8 people, excluding the driver. For campervans with more than 8 seats, you need a bus driving license (category D or D1).

Driving with a B driving license

Camper up to max. 3.500 kg You may drive with a standard B driving license. Rent compact campers so it is arranged that way.
