Traveling with the camper for the first time
On January 19, we were orienting ourselves at the holiday fair in Utrecht. We ended up at the Camperhuren.nl booth. After 15 years on the road with a caravan, we wanted to have a look at campers from the inside. More and more friends are now taking such a holiday and are very enthusiastic about their stories. That makes us curious. We got into conversation with the owner Ernst Rauwenhoff and we became more and more enthusiastic about a trip with a camper.
After having filled in a few things on an Ipad, we had a chance to win a week of camper rental with a camper of choice. Well that would be nice. And we were indeed the lucky ones who were called that we had won. What a lucky guy! We took another 2 weeks ourselves and went to France from September 19 to October 10 with a camper of our choice. Below a short report of our trip.
Napoleon road
We have driven the route from North to South so vice versa. We were happy about this afterwards because the mountains occasionally came so low over the narrow roads that we could not have passed on the inside. We had no problems with this. Grenoble is a wonderful city and easy to ride by bike. We have made the beautiful walk / climb to the Bastille and also down again. Later redone again with Les Bulles these are linked glass balls on a cable car. What a fantastic view!
