Prague
The Czech capital Prague is definitely recommended. Prague's Old Town is full of beautiful buildings and green turrets. In the cozy streets and squares you will find several street artists who provide a good atmosphere. On the other side of the Vltava river, which splits the city in two, you will find even more cozy streets. The parks on the left bank of the Vltava are also well worth a stroll through. Don't forget to visit Prague Castle. When you walk around there you do not feel that you are in a big city.
In the Czech Republic they pay with the Czech koruna (CZK). For the current exchange rate between the Euro and the Czech koruna, look up Coinmill. The prices in Prague are not too bad. Many attractions, including Prague Castle, can be visited for free. The food in drinks is also affordable. Therefore, try the typical Czech food such as the goulash soup served in bread. For daily shopping you also do not pay much in the supermarkets.
There are several camper pitches around Prague, these are located just outside the center. Public transport in Prague is well organized and with the metro and bus you are quickly in the middle of the city. Often you can also reach the city center by bicycle, but be aware that you are not allowed to travel by bike everywhere in Prague.
Budapest
Budapest, the Hungarian capital, is just like Prague worth a visit. Budapest is divided into two parts by the Danube River, Buda and Pest. Buda is the hilly part, here you will find many large buildings such as the Buda Castle. In Buda you can also visit the Liberty Statue, here you will find a beautiful view after a long walk. On the other side of the Danube you will find the Pest section. Pest is a flatter area and consists of pleasant streets and many terraces. Here you can find, for example, the impressive parliament building and Central Market Hall. If you are in Budapest, it is certainly worth a day to visit one of the many bath houses. Here you can completely relax and enjoy various baths.
The currency in Hungary is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). View on Coinmill the current exchange rate. The prices in Budapest are not that expensive, especially if you are looking for restaurants outside the main streets, the price is not too bad.
While in Budapest you should definitely try one of the local Hungarian delicacies. The Hungarian goulash and stews are definitely recommended. But also try the lángos, which is fried dough with sour cream and cheese, for example.
Ljubljana
Another capital in this list is Ljubljana. Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia, and is located on the river Ljubljanica. The city has a very nice and cozy atmosphere. Several restaurants and many colored buildings can be found along the river. Every day there is a market where a lot of fruit and vegetables are sold. The most famous landmark is the Ljubljanski grad. You can get here by cable car, by car or on foot. The Tivoli park is a large park where you can take a nice walk.
Ljubljana is a cheap city, in the many restaurants along the river you can eat delicious food for normal prices. If you go a bit more out of the center, you pay less and less but there is less to do.
Florence
Florence is the largest city in the Tuscany region and is a popular tourist destination. This is not for nothing. Florence is very important in the field of painting, sculpture, literature and architecture. Throughout the city there are many museums with many works of art from the Renaissance. In addition to these many museums, there are beautiful buildings to be found. Several palaces and churches can be found in the historic city center. When you walk through the city you see one attraction after another passing by. In addition to all these beautiful buildings, there are also many cozy terraces and restaurants.
Florence is a very touristic city, so there is certainly a lot to do. The prices are therefore higher than we are used to. Prices can be high, especially in the center. In addition to the regular price, it is normal in Italy if you also give a tip. The more you look up the side streets, the cheaper the prices will be.
