Toll in Europe

In a number of European countries you pay tolls to use tunnels, bridges, roads and ferries. There are different ways to pay for these. For one country you buy a vignette online, in another country payment is via license plate registration and for yet another country you buy a toll box before departure.

In this blog we will give you information about tolls in Europe in the countries where most campers go. Make sure you arrange the payment in advance, otherwise we will receive the invoice and/or fine and charge €35 administration costs. Check the route you have planned well before departure and the country information that goes with it, for example the ANWB, to discover what you need for your trip and what you need to arrange in advance. This way you are informed and you avoid extra costs.
