What is a self-sufficient motorhome?
A self-sufficient motorhome means that you can provide your own care. This means you are not dependent on the sanitary facilities at a campsite. Make sure you have your own supply of fresh water that you can heat to take advantage of a hot shower. And that you collect water to use for cooking and showering. A toilet is also not an unnecessary luxury in a self-sufficient motorhome. You can also easily use the toilet on the road without having to look for a place where you can find it.
Out of necessity, the self-sufficient campers have been in the proverbial elevator since the corona period. Logical, given that toilet blocks often remained closed for a long time. Then go for a mobile toilet that you can easily place in the camper. In order to still provide yourself with the (necessary) needs. Nowadays, a shower is also easy to add mobile to a camper. Keep in mind that this is not allowed on many campsites. Logical, given that the shampoo often runs off on the floor. If you are not sure about this, it is best to contact the campsite in advance. You also need to determine how the water for the shower is heated. Let it heat up by the sun, or by the camper itself.
Electricity motorhome
In addition to mobile or fixed sanitary facilities, a kitchen is also an absolute must in a motorhome.
